Songwriting Policy & Disclaimer
All songwriting services provided by Lake Ben Productions begin at the listed starting price. This fee covers the creative time, writing, vocal drafting, melody development, and initial production concepts. Because songwriting is original intellectual property, all songs created through this service include a royalty and publishing structure unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Ownership & Royalties:

Songs written by Lake Ben Productions include a standard writer’s share and/or publishing split, typically ranging from 25%–50%, depending on the project and level of creative contribution.

Royalties apply to all commercial releases, streams, downloads, performances, licenses, and placements.

Clients purchasing songwriting services are buying the service, not exclusive ownership, unless an exclusive buyout is negotiated.
Buyouts:

If a client wants full ownership with no ongoing royalties or credits, a Songwriting Buyout Fee can be arranged at a higher rate.
Credits:

All released songs must credit Lake Ben Productions or the listed writers unless a buyout agreement states otherwise.
